Salary Range: £28,000 - £34,000

About the Role / Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Functional Skills Tutor to deliver Functional Skills up to level 2 in English and Maths for young people aged 16-24. This role emphasizes a blended learning approach, utilizing both group sessions and one-on-one support to ensure learners achieve their qualifications. You will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes skill development and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and deliver Functional Skills lessons in English and Maths.
• Utilize digital delivery models for effective blended learning.
• Conduct initial assessments and create action plans for learners.
• Maintain a caseload of learners and monitor their progress.
• Individualize programs to meet the needs of employers and learners.
• Participate in team meetings and standardization processes.
• Ensure accurate administration and compliance with data protection regulations.

Education Requirements:

• Level 3 award in education and training (or equivalent).
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).

Experience Requirements:

• Proven track record of delivering Functional Skills to young people aged 16-24.
• Experience in training and assessment delivery, both face-to-face and remotely.
• Experience working with SEND or high-need learners.
• Effective self-management and workload management skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with learners and stakeholders.
