🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

📍 Location: Various Community-Based Services (Travel may be required)

Are you passionate about helping people rebuild their lives? We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Coordinator to join our specialist substance misuse service.

You'll support individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, providing person-centred support, recovery planning, and coordinated interventions that empower people to achieve sustainable recovery.

📝 Key Responsibilities

✅ Manage a caseload from assessment through to recovery and discharge.

✅ Complete comprehensive assessments and personalised recovery plans.

✅ Deliver regular key working sessions and progress reviews.

✅ Coordinate tailored interventions to meet individual needs.

✅ Signpost and refer clients to specialist services, including:

• 🏠 Housing
• 🧠 Mental Health Services
• 💼 Employment & Education
• 💷 Benefits Advice
• ❤️ Physical Health Services

✅ Promote harm reduction and safer substance use practices.

✅ Complete risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.

✅ Maintain accurate electronic case records.

✅ Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.

✅ Support individuals to build resilience, independence, and long-term recovery.

✅ Encourage engagement with community recovery groups and peer support networks.

✅ Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and GDPR requirements.

✔️ Essential Requirements

🔹 Experience in substance misuse, mental health, homelessness, criminal justice, or a related support setting.

🔹 Experience managing a caseload.

🔹 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

🔹 Ability to build positive and professional relationships.

🔹 Strong organisational and time management skills.

🔹 Experience maintaining accurate records and reports.

🔹 Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.

🔹 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

⭐ Desirable

🎓 NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

💻 Experience using case management systems.

🌱 Knowledge of recovery-focused interventions.

🤝 Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
