Are you passionate about helping people rebuild their lives? We're looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Coordinator to join our specialist substance misuse service.

You'll support individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency, providing person-centred support, recovery planning, and coordinated interventions that empower people to achieve sustainable recovery.

πŸ“ Key Responsibilities

βœ… Manage a caseload from assessment through to recovery and discharge.

βœ… Complete comprehensive assessments and personalised recovery plans.

βœ… Deliver regular key working sessions and progress reviews.

βœ… Coordinate tailored interventions to meet individual needs.

βœ… Signpost and refer clients to specialist services, including:

  • 🏠 Housing
  • 🧠 Mental Health Services
  • πŸ’Ό Employment & Education
  • πŸ’· Benefits Advice
  • ❀️ Physical Health Services

βœ… Promote harm reduction and safer substance use practices.

βœ… Complete risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.

βœ… Maintain accurate electronic case records.

βœ… Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies.

βœ… Support individuals to build resilience, independence, and long-term recovery.

βœ… Encourage engagement with community recovery groups and peer support networks.

βœ… Ensure compliance with safeguarding, confidentiality, and GDPR requirements.

βœ”οΈ Essential Requirements

πŸ”Ή Experience in substance misuse, mental health, homelessness, criminal justice, or a related support setting.

πŸ”Ή Experience managing a caseload.

πŸ”Ή Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

πŸ”Ή Ability to build positive and professional relationships.

πŸ”Ή Strong organisational and time management skills.

πŸ”Ή Experience maintaining accurate records and reports.

πŸ”Ή Knowledge of safeguarding and risk management.

πŸ”Ή Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

⭐ Desirable

πŸŽ“ NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

πŸ’» Experience using case management systems.

🌱 Knowledge of recovery-focused interventions.
