Are you an experienced Maths or Engineering professional looking to inspire the next generation of engineers? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Further Education College in Chichester for a Maths Engineering Lecturer to join their dedicated teaching team.
This is an excellent opportunity to deliver engaging Maths lessons within Engineering programmes, helping students develop the essential mathematical skills required for success in engineering careers and further study.
The Role
As a Maths Engineering Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver high-quality Maths teaching to Engineering students.
- Plan and deliver engaging, learner-focused lessons.
- Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Support learners to achieve their full academic potential.
- Create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high teaching standards.
Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
- A recognised qualification in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS) or willingness to work towards one.
- Previous teaching or industry experience within Maths and/or Engineering.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and supporting student achievement.
