About the Role
We are working with a number of established Further Education colleges across South London to recruit passionate and dedicated Health & Social Care Lecturers.
This is a fantastic opportunity to teach BTEC Health & Social Care to learners aged 16-19, supporting them to achieve their qualifications while preparing them for higher education and careers within the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities
As a Health & Social Care Lecturer, you will:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring BTEC Health & Social Care lessons.
- Plan and prepare high-quality learning materials and schemes of work.
- Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Track learner progress and implement strategies to support achievement.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Ensure delivery meets awarding body and college quality standards.
Essential Requirements
- Experience teaching BTEC Health & Social Care.
- A degree or recognised professional qualification in Health & Social Care or a related subject.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
Desirable
- PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or another recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching within a Further Education college.
