Housing Support Assistant - Day

Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting Housing Support Assistants (HSA) for our client based in Uxbridge. We have Day and Night shifts available, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and help residents live safely and independently.

🕒 Shifts: Day & Night shifts available (rota basis, including weekends where required)
💼 Contract: Temp to Perm

About the Role

As a Housing Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting vulnerable adults within supported accommodation. You'll help create a safe, welcoming environment while promoting independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for residents.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to residents in supported housing
• Promote independence and encourage positive engagement
• Carry out welfare checks and maintain a safe living environment
• Accurately record incidents, support notes, and handovers
• Work closely with colleagues and external support agencies
• Respond calmly and professionally to challenging situations
• Support the smooth running of the service during day or night shifts

About You

• Previous experience in supported housing, homelessness, care, or a similar support role is desirable
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to build positive relationships
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is preferred
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts on a rota basis
