Senior Revenues Officer

Are you a Senior Revenues Officer looking for work in Lincolnshire or remotely from home?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Lincolnshire is looking to recruit a Senior Revenues Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

- Using the iWorld/Northgate Version 6 Revenues system.
- Completing or supporting the preparation of the Council Tax Base return.
- Calculating and validating the Council Tax Base.
- Supporting annual billing processes
- Administering the billing, collection and recovery of Council Tax.
- Opening, closing and amending Council Tax accounts.
- Processing Council Tax discounts, exemptions, disregards and premiums.
- Determining Council Tax liability.
- Managing moves in and out of properties.
- Setting up payment arrangements and Direct Debits.
- Issuing reminders, final notices and summonses.
- Handling Attachment of Earnings and Attachment of Benefits.
- Tracing absconders and pursuing outstanding Council Tax debt.
- Liaising with enforcement agents (bailiffs) and other external organisations.
- Preparing cases for Magistrates' Court and supporting recovery action.
- Providing technical support and assisting the team with complex Council Tax queries.
