The Role
Our client is seeking a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Joiner to join their maintenance team at a large site in Bolton.
You will be responsible for completing planned and preventative maintenance, along with general joinery and building fabric repairs. The role offers long-term, secure work with the opportunity to move into a permanent position, as well as potential progression within the company.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance.
- Completing general joinery repairs and maintenance, including doors, frames, kitchens, fixtures, and fittings.
- Undertaking basic multi-trade works, such as patch plastering and minor plumbing.
- Investigating, diagnosing, and repairing faults affecting the building fabric.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Maintaining positive working relationships with customers and site users.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will need:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Carpentry & Joinery, or an equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrable experience working within a maintenance environment.
- A multi-skilled background.
- The ability to complete basic tasks across additional trades would be desirable.
