Reactive Maintenance Joiners

Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for experienced Reactive Maintenance Joiners to join a busy repairs and maintenance team, carrying out joinery repairs and maintenance across a range of domestic and commercial properties.

This is a great opportunity for a time-served Joiner looking for long-term, consistent work within a well-established maintenance environment.


The Role

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive and planned joinery repairs, responding to maintenance requests and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out reactive joinery repairs in domestic properties and public/commercial buildings
• Completing repairs to doors, windows, flooring, skirting, architraves and other joinery elements
• Repairing and replacing damaged fixtures and fittings
• Carrying out general joinery maintenance and minor remedial works
• Responding to a variety of repair requests and diagnosing issues on site
• Working across occupied and unoccupied properties
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Completing jobs within agreed timescales and providing updates where required
• Working in line with relevant health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a professional approach when working in customers' homes and public buildings

About You

The successful candidate will ideally be:

• Time-served Joiner with relevant qualifications or equivalent experience
• Experienced in reactive maintenance or property repairs
• Confident working independently and managing a varied workload
• Experienced working within domestic properties, with commercial/public-sector experience desirable
• Able to complete high-quality repairs and maintenance work
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Able to communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and supervisors
• Health & Safety conscious
• Ideally hold a full UK driving licence
