Job Title: Health and Social Care Lecturer

Location: Merseyside

Salary: Up to £42,700

About the Role / Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching T levels and BTEC levels 2 and 3, ensuring students receive an exceptional learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Health and Social Care courses including T levels and BTEC levels 2 and 3.
• Develop engaging lesson plans and deliver high-quality instruction.
• Assess and support students in achieving their academic goals.
• Provide constructive feedback to enhance student learning.
• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Must be a fully qualified teacher.
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Education Requirements:

• Degree in Health and Social Care or related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to obtain one.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience teaching in Further Education or similar environments.
• Knowledge of curriculum requirements for T levels and BTEC.
• Experience in assessing and supporting diverse learners.
