This is an agency role working full time Monday to Friday from September, however we would like to get you in prior to the end of this academic year to get you trained in advance.

Pay Rate: £22.37ph PAYE £2.70ph WTR Total: £25:07ph Weekdays.
Hours: 37.5 hours - Mon to Fri

Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Head of Security has the responsibility to develop and maintain a safe and secure environment to allow the provision of world-class healthcare.
The candidate will manage the workload and performance of the In-house Security Officers and management of all Security Contracts both for staff resources and service contracts.
Provide security advice, some of it of a specialist nature, to the Trust, assuring the provision of an effective and high-quality security service for patients, staff and visitors. Develop the Trust\'s security strategy in conjunction with GM and AD Facilities and specialist clinical services leads. Develop and implement supporting policies and procedures.
Work in close partnership with senior colleagues within the Trust, the wider NHS Security Management network, the police, professional representative bodies and trade unions.
The aim is to provide a comprehensive, inclusive and professional security management service for the Trust and work towards the creation of a pro-security culture within the NHS in-line with Secretary of State Directions issued by NHS England Improvement (NHS EI) on security management and the protection of NHS staff from violence and abuse.
To implement national security policies, ensuring the Trust is compliant with these.
To contribute to the drawing up of the security service budget and assisting in financial initiatives which support provision of a quality service whilst ensuring value for money.
Working as part of the Senior Management Team this role will take the lead setting the strategic direction for, and managing, the security requirements within the Estates and Facilities Division and the wider Trust. This is essential to ensure the Trust provides a safe and secure environment for the provision of world-class healthcare. The candidate will provide assurance to the Divisional Board that all the security, CCTV, Access control, ID production, and FM Salto fob systems are managed effectively and efficiently including the management of the in-house security team based at Bristol site.

* Develop a product ionised automation service based on the findings from prior Research & Development.

* Conduct spikes and research to increase the scope of the automation service.

Experience Required -
* Ability to engage with stakeholders, understanding context and requirements,from diverse areas of a business including Product Management, Service Design, and Operations.
* Design and implementation of solutions using a service-based and server less architecture.
* Using written, verbal, and visual communication to explain complex topics concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Cloud monitoring, telemetry, intelligence tools and processes, including Grafana.
* Experience working in the Agile delivery models - such as Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks.
* Formal XP engineering techniques.
* Defining infrastructure-as-code
