Homeless Assessment and Resettlement Worker
Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Homeless Assessment and Resettlement Worker to work in a busy homeless assessment hub in west London. The service aims to assess and resettle clients experiencing homelessness with varied levels of support required, from the very complex with multiple needs, to those who have recently become homeless with a lower-level of support needed to progress them into an independent tenancy. Clients engaged at the service are referred by local authority homeless person units, street outreach teams and StreetLink.

We have a current opportunity for a Accommodation Manager on a temporary basis. The position will be based in Glasgow.
The role is a temporary role for a month to month period initially. The role will be for around 21 hours per week and the organisation is flexible as to when these are carried out and would generally be between the hours of 9-5 (occasionally having to work later)
You will be managing a homeless accommodation project where you will be line managing the 4 staff on site. As this is a temporary role the main focus of the role will be line management. You will also be involved in liaising with external agencies, some building management/reporting of repairs etc and ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed correctly.
To be considered for the role previous experience of management within homelessness and of managing a team. SSSC registration is essential as is an appropriate care qualification or working towards this qualification.
Start date for the role will be ASAP.
