Our esteemed charity is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supported Housing Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Supported Housing Services.
Responsibilities:
As the Supported Housing Team Leader, you will be tasked with supporting our Housing Team to provide excellent service to all housing clients. This involves identifying and assessing client needs, ensuring appropriate support is available to facilitate positive changes and progress towards independent living. You will also be responsible for maximizing rental income and ensuring clients meet their tenancy/license obligations.
Additional Duties:
In addition to the above, you will support the staff team in meeting external demands, responding to the needs of local commissioners and stakeholders, and demonstrating best value and best practice. You will actively support clients in achieving their goals and aspirations, helping them to transition away from homelessness.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in managing a team within the supported housing service, along with knowledge of financial management. Strong leadership, motivation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is an understanding of health and safety policies and procedures, and safeguarding policies and procedures. Experience in conducting risk assessments and using the Outcome Star is also required, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
