This session is for social workers of all levels who wish to work in the UK but are overwhelmed but the registration process.

It is mandatory to be registered with Social Work England in order to migrate to the UK as a social worker. As the regulatory body they need to ensure every individual added to the register has the right education, training, and experience to give the best possible support to those who need it. For this reason, the registration process has to be thorough and detailed.

This session will:

  • Give an overview of the registration process.
  • Talk through the timescales.
  • Explain the most common mistakes social workers make to cause delays with their application.
  • Talk through the dos and don'ts of the application process to ensure your application is dealt with as quickly as possible.
