Job Title: Youth Work Development Manager
Location: Walthamstow or Hayes (with hybrid working available)
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Hours: 35 per week (occasional evenings and weekends required)
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop youth services that support young people aged 11-25, with a strong focus on those facing disadvantage.
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Youth Work Development Manager to oversee and grow provision across multiple sites, ensuring services are impactful, sustainable, and responsive to the needs of young people.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and inspire a team of Youth Programme Officers and volunteers
Oversee the delivery of high-quality youth services across multiple locations
Develop and implement new projects and initiatives to meet local needs
Manage budgets and contribute to securing funding for service growth
Ensure compliance with safeguarding and all statutory requirements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Youth Work (or related field)
At least 2 years' experience managing youth services with significant budget responsibility
Experience of leading and developing staff and/or volunteers
Strong organisational, financial management, and service development skills
A genuine passion for improving outcomes for disadvantaged young people
You must also be flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends, and able to travel between sites when required.
