Operations Manager - Young Persons Homeless Service

Location: Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Salary: £23-25 per hour

Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

We are looking for a Property Services & Operations Manager to lead a supported accommodation services for young people, based in Chesterfield. This role is central to ensuring safe, high-quality services that comply with Ofsted standards while helping young people achieve positive outcomes.

The Role

The Property Services and Operations Manager will:

• Lead and manage Deputy Operations Managers, staff teams, budgets, and performance.
• Ensure properties are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environments.
• Oversee safeguarding, compliance, and Ofsted requirements.
• Champion quality and continuous improvement across services.
• Support young people with tailored plans, move-on strategies, and access to education or training.
• Build strong relationships with partners, professionals, and young people.

The Candidate

A successful Property Services and Operations Manager will bring:

• Experience in supported accommodation, social care, housing, or a similar regulated environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted inspection frameworks.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain solution-focused under pressure.
