I'm working with a Local Authority in the Warwickshire area who are looking to bring in a Lead Tenancy Officer (Independent Living) to strengthen their Housing Services team within the Government Public Sector.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong housing management experience to step into a role where you'll be leading on tenancy enforcement, supporting tenancy sustainment, and supervising a small team.

Key points of note:
Location - Warwickshire | 3 Days in office
37hpw | £21.14ph - £27.84ph Umbrella | Inside IR35
Initial 3 months, possible extension

A the Lead Tenancy Officer you will be required to:

  • Handle tenancy enforcement, including representing the authority in court.
  • Reviewing tenancies at risk of eviction and advising on the best course of action to sustain them.
  • Supervising and supporting Housing Officers (Independent Living).
  • Handling high-risk anti-social behaviour and tenancy breach cases.
  • Working with partner agencies to help residents maintain their tenancies and communities thrive.

What they're looking for:

  • Solid background in housing management and tenancy enforcement.
  • Experience supervising staff.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and resilience when handling challenging situations.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
