MIS Officer (Full-Time, Fixed-Term - Until Christmas)




Location: Leicestershire

We're looking for an experienced and proactive MIS Officer to join our team on a full-time, fixed-term basis until Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role within a newly merged education provider during a period of transformation and growth. You'll play a crucial part in managing data operations, supporting curriculum teams, and ensuring funding compliance across a complex funding landscape.

The Role:

As our MIS Officer, you'll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the MIS function. You'll advise curriculum teams on funding and data policies, manage data integrity and compliance, and lead a team of MIS Officers handling validations and student data.

You'll also work with a variety of funding streams (HE, DISE, 16-19, ASF, and specific projects) and need to be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving systems and processes.



Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily MIS operations and ensure data accuracy
• Support and advise curriculum teams on funding rules and data policy
• Collaborate with senior managers where needed
• Lead a team responsible for checks, validations, and student record administration
• Work with multiple ProSolution systems, including manual data consolidation
• Interpret data for audit-readiness and compliance

About You:

• Proven experience with ProSolution and ProMonitor is essential
• Strong understanding of Further Education funding streams
• Confident working across multiple systems and navigating complex data processes
• A quick learner, adaptable, and capable of managing a busy workload
• Able to lead a team while working collaboratively within a supportive environment
