Job Title: Housing Resolutions Officer
Location: North West London (Local Government)
Rate: £27.71ph umbrella (36hpw - 9am - 5pm)
Contract: Temporary / 3 months - possible extension
I'm looking for a Housing Resolutions Officer to join a public sector and government housing team in North West London, where you'll play a vital role in supporting residents across the borough.
This is a front line position where you'll need strong interpersonal skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently while making a real difference to the lives of vulnerable individuals and families.
What you'll be doing:
- Providing clear, accurate advice and information to residents on housing and homelessness issues.
- Working directly with vulnerable groups, offering tailored support and ensuring their needs are understood and met.
- Conducting property visits both inside and outside of the borough, requiring extensive travel.
- Assessing housing situations and helping residents find sustainable housing solutions.
- Liaising with internal teams, external agencies, and landlords to resolve cases effectively.
What I'm looking for:
- A full driving licence and access to a car (essential, due to extensive travel).
- Experience of giving advice and information to customers, with the ability to communicate effectively with vulnerable groups.
- A solid understanding of homelessness and housing issues, particularly within a public sector and government context.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload under pressure.
