Business Development Executive - Office Based (Inverness)
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join a well-established business within the energy sector. The company has a strong reputation for delivering reliable services and tailored solutions to a wide range of customers across Scotland.
This is a permanent, office-based role in Inverness, reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to support the growth of the business. The role will focus on building customer relationships, developing sales opportunities, and providing day-to-day support to ensure a smooth and professional service.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with customers across Scotland.
- Identifying opportunities for new business and supporting sales growth.
- Managing customer queries and ensuring high service standards.
- Negotiating and closing sales opportunities.
- Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks such as order processing and quotations.
- Keeping up to date with market activity and industry developments.
About You
We are seeking someone who is:
- Experienced in a sales or commercial role (experience within the energy sector would be advantageous, though not essential).
- A confident communicator and negotiator, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage a varied workload.
- Proactive, motivated, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours
- 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
- Office based in Inverness
Salary & Benefits
- Basic Salary: £30,000 per year
- OTE: circa £36,000 per year
