
Policy Manager - Fixed Term 9 month

I am working with this fantastic client to help them find a Policy Manager to join their regulatory policy team on a fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to influence key policy decisions, work with senior stakeholders, and deliver projects that improve the way people access and experience legal services.
What you'll be doing in this role
- Lead the development, delivery and implementation of regulatory and education/training policy.
- Apply strong project management skills to deliver clear, evidence-based outcomes.
- Conduct impact assessments, including equality impact assessments.
- Build influential relationships with senior stakeholders inside and outside the organisation.
- Contribute to public policy debates and represent the organisation externally at events and conferences.
- Produce high-quality reports, consultation papers, and policy documents.
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion across all aspects of your work.
What they are looking for:
- Degree or equivalent experience.
- Background in one or more of: regulation, consumer policy, economics, legal services, education and training.
- Experience leading policy development in a complex environment.
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to deliver practical, clear outcomes on complex issues.
- Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience producing policy reports and board papers.
- A strong commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
