
Health and Social Care Tutor - Leeds
Morgan Hunt have partnered with an established charity who are seeking to recruit an Health and Social Care Tutor in Leeds. This is a full time permanent role working on site 5 days per week. The salary for this role is paying £27,000. The primary function of this role is to Health and Social to post 16 learners starting their career within the industry. The role will require the postholder to embed Functional Skills as part of the delivery. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in teaching Health and Social Care programmes to post 16 learners. Ideally the client is seeking someone with a teaching or assessing qualification but is willing to upskill if the successful candidate is willing to work towards one.
The Health and Social Care Tutor will be responsible for:
- designing, planning and delivering interactive lessons to learners studying Health and Social Care
- contributing to the course review process, curriculum development and quality assurance in line with the organisations policies and procedures
- ensuring learners documentation is correct completed to ensure eligibility for funding
- attending regular meetings with the quality team
The Health and Social Tutor will need to hold:
- a Level 3 (or above) qualification in Health and Social Care
- a Level 3 (or above) teaching qualification or assessing qualification (or willing to work towards one)
- previous experience in teaching post 16 learners Health and Social Care
In return the Health and Social Care Tutor will receive:
- An annual salary of £27,000
