AI Governance Manager

Morgan Hunt are working with a large public sector organisation to recruit an AI Governance Manager on a 6-month contract. The role requires someone who has active SC clearance. The purpose of the role is to lead the development and implementation of the organisations AI governance framework. The role will provide strategic oversight, establish governance standards and embed risk management practices to support the organisations regulatory objectives and innovation plans.

Key Outputs:

• Manage AI the organisations policies and controls framework
• Define and monitor AI risk metrics
• Build an AI governance community
• Operationalise AI governance processes
• Align AI governance standards and raise awareness
• Leverage technology for AI governance
• Stay ahead of regulatory guidance
• Support programmes and prioritise AI governance initiatives

Essential skills:

• Proven experience in AI governance, data ethics or regulatory compliance
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and associated risks
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear governance policies.

Up to £700 per day, Inside IR35

6 month contract, extension possible

Hybrid working (one day per week in the office, various UK locations)

Active SC Clearance is required for this role
