
Housing Support Officer
📍 Location: Hanwell
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (shift rota including evenings and weekends)
💷 Salary: £25,881 per annum

About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Supported Housing Officer to deliver effective housing management and personalised support to residents. In this role, you will help individuals maintain their tenancies, develop independent living skills, and access opportunities such as education, training, and employment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of residents and develop person-centred support plans
Monitor rent accounts and take early action to prevent arrears
Maintain high occupancy levels by managing referrals, assessments, and move-ins
Respond to anti-social behaviour and ensure tenancy conditions are upheld
Conduct regular welfare and wellbeing checks with residents
Encourage and support residents to access training, education, and employment opportunities
About You
Experience supporting vulnerable individuals within housing, advice services, or social care
Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills
Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations
Empathetic approach with the confidence to set clear boundaries
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
Desirable:
Experience within supported housing or resettlement services
Familiarity with housing management systems
Requirements
Enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult) issued within the last 12 months, or registered on the Update Service
Proof of Right to Work in the UK (e.g., valid British passport)
