Service Manager - Supported Accommodation (Young People)

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead a supported accommodation service in Bromley. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, trauma-informed support to young people experiencing homelessness and complex needs, helping them move towards independent living.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the safe and high-quality delivery of supported accommodation services
- Manage a team of 2 Senior Progression Coaches, 6 Progression Coaches, and 1 Housing Management Worker
- Deliver a trauma-informed, outcome-focused service for young people
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and risks are managed appropriately
- Oversee KPI reporting, contract compliance, and data submissions
- Manage service budgets, rental income, and expenditure effectively
- Monitor voids and ensure properties are utilised within agreed timeframes
- Ensure health & safety and legal compliance across all sites
- Represent the organisation at commissioning meetings and local forums
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience managing a service, ideally within supported housing or similar settings
- Experience working with young people with complex needs (mental health, substance misuse, etc.)
- Strong experience in service delivery, KPI reporting, and contract compliance
- Experience supervising and leading staff teams
- Knowledge of risk assessments and support planning
- Experience working in multi-agency environments and managing partnerships
- Budget management and financial oversight experience
- Strong understanding of safeguarding procedures
- Good IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Commitment to health & safety best practices

- Experience managing teams across multiple or dispersed sites
