Housing Support Worker (Temp to Perm)

📍 Location: Coventry

💰 Pay Rate: £18 per hour (Umbrella)

🕒 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

📄 Contract: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to join a supportive and well-established service working with adults, including individuals recently released from probation services.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in housing, substance misuse, or employability support who is passionate about helping vulnerable individuals move towards independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 housing-related support to service users
• Develop and manage support plans tailored to individual needs
• Carry out health & safety and property checks
• Support clients with budgeting and financial management
• Conduct risk assessments and manage medium-risk cases
• Assist with benefits, tenancy sustainment, and life skills

About You

• Experience in housing support, substance misuse, or employability services
• Comfortable working with medium-risk clients, including ex-offenders
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
