Pay Rate: £20-£22 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and supportive Student Learning Advisor to join a reputable college in West London on a full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and group academic support to students across a range of courses
• Assist learners with study skills, time management, and assignment planning
• Support students with additional learning needs, including those requiring extra academic guidance
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff to identify and support at-risk learners
• Develop and deliver workshops on study skills, revision techniques, and academic writing
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records of support provided
• Promote inclusive learning practices and help create a supportive learning environment
• Support students in building confidence, resilience, and independent learning skills

Requirements

• Experience supporting learners in an educational or training environment
• Strong understanding of study skills and learning support strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs
• Good organisational and record-keeping skills
• A relevant qualification in education, learning support, or a related field (desirable)
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
