Recovery Worker - Barnet | £15 per hour + Holiday Pay

We are currently recruiting for a Recovery Worker to join a well-established service in Barnet, supporting individuals affected by substance misuse on their journey to recovery and independence.

Role Details:

• Position: Recovery Worker
• Location: Barnet
• Pay Rate: £15 per hour + Holiday Pay
• Contract: TBC

About the Role:

As a Recovery Worker, you will manage a caseload of service users with drug and alcohol support needs. You will deliver structured, person-centred interventions to support individuals in achieving positive outcomes. The role involves completing assessments, developing tailored recovery plans, and working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies. You will also be responsible for conducting risk assessments, safeguarding, and promoting engagement to encourage long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a caseload and delivering keywork sessions
• Completing comprehensive assessments and support plans
• Supporting service users with substance misuse and related needs
• Working in partnership with healthcare professionals and external services
• Promoting harm reduction and recovery-focused outcomes

Requirements:

• Experience working within substance misuse / recovery services
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and risk management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively
