This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring students receive the tailored support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role

As an EHCP Coordinator, you will work closely with curriculum teams, SEND professionals, local authorities, parents/carers, and external agencies to oversee the effective implementation and review of EHCPs across the college.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage EHCP processes across the college
Ensure annual reviews are completed within statutory timelines
Liaise with Local Authorities, parents/carers, and external professionals
Monitor student progress and support outcomes
Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
Support teaching staff with SEND strategies and interventions
Promote inclusive practice throughout the college

Requirements

Previous experience working with EHCPs within education
Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory processes
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience within a college, school, or further education setting desirable
Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
