Triage Worker

We are seeking an experienced Triage Worker to support individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Job Title: Triage worker

Location: Brent, London

Contract Role

Day: Monday to Friday [ with flexibility of working from home on someday]

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct triage and eligibility assessments
• Act as the first point of contact for service users
• Assess needs and identify suitable support pathways
• Gather and verify supporting documents and information
• Manage referrals and maintain accurate case records
• Liaise with local authorities, housing providers, and partner agencies
• Signpost clients to relevant housing, welfare, and support services
• Support safeguarding and tenancy sustainment outcomes

Requirements:

• Experience working with vulnerable individuals
• Strong communication and assessment skills
• Background in housing, homelessness, support work, welfare, or customer service preferred
• Ability to manage a busy caseload and work independently
