About the Role
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Employer Engagement Officer (Construction) to join our dynamic team in Northamptonshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive business development professional to build strong partnerships with employers, drive growth, and promote high-quality training solutions across the construction sector.
You will act as the primary point of contact for employers, developing new business opportunities while managing and expanding existing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and generate new business opportunities within the construction sector
- Build and manage strong relationships with new and existing employer partners
- Promote a wide range of training solutions, including apprenticeships, commercial training, and funded programmes
- Deliver against income and performance targets across multiple funding streams
- Conduct cold calling and outreach activity to attract new clients
- Provide expert account management, identifying opportunities for growth within existing clients
- Design tailored solutions to meet employer workforce needs
- Prepare and present proposals, bids and tenders
- Maintain accurate records using CRM systems to manage your sales pipeline
- Represent the organisation at employer meetings, events, and industry forums
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in business development or sales, with a strong track record of exceeding targets
- Confident in generating leads through cold calling and networking
- Knowledgeable about the construction sector
- Skilled in account management and relationship building
- A strong communicator with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Comfortable using CRM systems and managing a sales pipeline
Essential requirements:
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Level 2 Maths and English (or willingness to achieve)
