Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £47,000 per annum
About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated Curriculum Manager for Construction & Technology. In this role, you will ensure that staff have the necessary tools to support students in their study programs, deliver a high-quality teaching environment, and provide guidance to your team through regular meetings and reviews. You will maximise departmental resources to enhance the educational experience for both students and staff, serving as a positive role model within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and motivate a team to achieve high performance standards.
- Provide an outstanding learning environment for students.
- Ensure a high-quality student experience that supports individual success.
- Monitor student progress against targets.
- Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one sessions with direct reports.
- Ensure compliance with awarding body criteria.
- Support students in developing essential skills for positive career progression.
Qualifications:
- Relevant professional qualification to at least Level 3.
- Certificate in Education/PGCE/DTLLS qualification or willingness to work towards.
- Assessor Award/Internal Verifier Award or willingness to work towards.
Experience Requirements:
- Relevant and up-to-date occupational/professional experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the education sector.
- Experience in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Successful experience in supervising or coordinating teams.
- Experience in utilising learning technologies to enhance student success.
- Confident in data handling to support curriculum development.
