Our client, a women's charity, is seeking an organised, proactive, and motivated Administrator to support the effective day to day running of its Central Services.

This varied role offers the opportunity to contribute across a range of functions, including office administration, HR and recruitment support, financial administration, health and safety coordination, and providing administrative support to the CEO and fundraising activities. You will play a vital role in ensuring the organisation's operations run smoothly while delivering high quality support to colleagues, service users, and external partners.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage office inboxes, calls, enquiries, post and filing systems.
  • Coordinate meetings, training sessions and events, including agendas and minutes.
  • Support purchasing, invoices, office supplies and financial administration.
  • Help maintain a safe, well-equipped office and support Health & Safety compliance.
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, including job adverts, interviews, candidate communication and recruitment records.
  • Provide general HR administrative support.
  • Support the CEO with administrative tasks and assist with donor and fundraising communications.
  • Maintain effective administrative systems and contribute to continuous service improvement.


Essential Requirements

  • DBS Enhanced check required
  • Strong office administration experience.
  • Ability to provide a compassionate, non-judgemental first response by telephone.
  • Experience managing a range of administrative tasks and office systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise workload.
  • Knowledge of HR administration and Health & Safety.
  • Experience producing statistical and monitoring reports.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, and able to take responsibility.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines.
