Job Title: Project Coordinator
Contract: Initial 3-month temporary contract (with potential to extend)
Salary: £42,502 full time equivalent
Location: Hybrid working - 1-2 days in the office / in person workshops
Hours: 28 hours per week
About the Role:
We're looking for a highly organised and diplomatic Project Coordinator to support the Strategy Team to drive strategic decision-making within a leading Charity.
In this role, you will support key projects and engagements with senior leaders to enable deep thinking about future operating models and organisational design considerations that will deliver transformative work to address homelessness. You'll work closely with the Head of Strategy, assisting them to hold sensitive projects tightly. You will be comfortable working at pace in a mission-driven environment, engendering high levels of trust through reliability, efficiency and diplomacy. You'll join a conscientious team, focussed on organisational effectiveness to drive impact. You'll be at the heart of how strategic decisions are made, gaining greater insight into organisational governance and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and delivery of workshops to drive decision-making.
- Create and maintain project documentation, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate information.
- Organise meetings and project rhythms to ensure smooth project execution.
- Assist with communications and reporting to keep stakeholders informed.
- Provide executive support to senior leadership on assigned projects.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in project coordination.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong task monitoring skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to support projects and engage with senior stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project documentation and management processes.
