The Opportunity
We're recruiting on behalf of a number of well-established Further Education colleges across Central London for an enthusiastic Health & Social Care Lecturer.
This is an excellent opportunity to teach BTEC Health & Social Care to learners aged 16-19, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve their qualifications and progress into higher education or careers within the health and social care sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Health & Social Care lessons.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with awarding body requirements.
- Support learners to achieve their full academic potential.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
What You'll Need
Essential
- Experience teaching BTEC Health & Social Care.
- Relevant degree or professional qualification in Health & Social Care or a related field.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
Desirable
- PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or another recognised teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching within a Further Education college.
