🕐 Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday

💷 Pay: From £16.00 per hour Umbrella - pay may be increased depending on relevant direct Recovery Worker experience

💙 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Recovery Worker to join a specialist substance misuse service in Hatfield on an initial 3-month contract.

You will support service users throughout their recovery journey, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to reduce drug and alcohol-related harm and promote long-term recovery. 🌱

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• 🤝 Support service users from assessment through treatment and recovery.
• 🔍 Complete screening, assessments and risk assessments.
• 📋 Manage a caseload and develop person-centred recovery plans.
• 🧠 Deliver psychosocial interventions and motivational support.
• 🛡️ Provide harm-reduction advice and support.
• 🔗 Make appropriate referrals to partner services.
• 📢 Advocate for service users and help overcome barriers to support.
• 🏠 Support social reintegration, resilience and independence.
• 👥 Work effectively with the wider multi-disciplinary team.
• 💻 Maintain accurate and confidential case records.

👤 About You

You should have:

• ✅ Direct experience within a Recovery Worker, Drug & Alcohol or Substance Misuse role.
• ✅ Experience managing a caseload and completing assessments.
• ✅ Knowledge of recovery and harm-reduction approaches.
• ✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ✅ A person-centred, non-judgemental approach.
• ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
