Internal Communications Manager (temp)

Contract: 3 months | Day Rate: £300-£350 | Full-time or Part-time | Hybrid working

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Internal Communications Manager to join the Communications team at a leading public sector organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving internal engagement and supporting organisational change.

About the Role

As an Internal Communications Manager (Corporate Services), you will:

• Lead creative internal communications campaigns that engage and connect employees

• Develop targeted communication plans and ensure clear, consistent messaging

• Organise and deliver internal events - from town halls to hybrid all-hands meetings

• Produce compelling content for newsletters, intranet, digital channels, and staff updates

• Support change initiatives by helping colleagues stay informed, engaged, and aligned

• Work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across the organisation

This is a 3-month contract, paying £300-£350 per day, and we are open to applications from both full-time and part-time candidates.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven experience delivering internal communication strategies, campaigns, and events

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels

• A proactive, creative approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Experience creating content for multiple channels, such as intranet, newsletters, and digital platforms
