The Role
We are seeking an engaging and committed professional to deliver outstanding teaching and support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will play a vital role in fostering inclusive learning environments, tailoring teaching approaches, and empowering every learner to reach their full potential.
Location: Swindon
Contract: Temporary, on-going
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver inclusive learning programmes designed to meet the diverse needs of learners with SEND.
- Provide one-to-one and group support, encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence.
- Create and adapt differentiated resources and strategies to support a wide range of learning needs.
- Track and monitor learner progress, contributing effectively to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure learners achieve their best outcomes.
Requirements
- A Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working with young people with SEND in an educational setting.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching methods and effective classroom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting learners to overcome barriers and succeed in education.
