Salary: £28,582-£36,084
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Graphic Design Lecturer to provide maternity cover for this full-time role. You will deliver practical and theoretical lessons in graphic design, helping learners develop their creative and technical skills, portfolios, and industry-ready work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging graphic design lessons, covering both practical and theoretical elements.
- Support learners in developing their creative projects, portfolios, and technical skills.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learner outcomes.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and curriculum developments.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, teaching resources, and departmental improvements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
Person Specification:
- Qualification in Graphic Design or a related creative discipline.
- Experience teaching in further or higher education (FE/HE) desirable.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical expertise.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for design and commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
