Recovery Officer

Are you an experienced Recovery Officer looking for work in the East Midlands or remotely from home?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in the East Midlands is looking to recruit a Recovery Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will offer full time home working.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Proficiently use the Iworld/Northgate Version 6 ICT System
• Administering billing, collection and recovery of council tax, including arrears.
• Opening, closing and amending council tax accounts.
• Setting up payment arrangements and direct debits, taking payments.
• Applying discounts, reliefs, exemptions and disregards.
• Managing moves in and out of properties, tracing absconded debtors.
• Dealing with enforcement activity (e.g., attachments of earnings, benefit deductions, bailiffs).
• Issuing reminders, summonses, and preparing cases for Magistrates' Court committals.
