We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Carpentry Lecturer to join our team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality training to learners studying Carpentry and related construction courses, helping them develop both practical skills and technical knowledge.




Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging theory and practical carpentry lessons
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Prepare lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning materials
• Ensure a safe workshop and classroom environment
• Support learners with varying abilities and learning needs
• Contribute to course development and quality improvement

Requirements

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Passion for education and learner development

Desirable

• Teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Assessor or IQA qualification
• Experience teaching apprentices or college learners
• Knowledge of current industry standards and regulations
