Independent Mental Capacity Advocate

I am currently looking for a Qualified Independent Mental Capacity Advocate (IMCA) to support a well established charity operating across East London and Essex.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in representing and safeguarding the rights of individuals who lack capacity to make certain decisions, ensuring their voices are heard in important matters regarding health, welfare, and accommodation.

Requirements:

• IMCA qualification or relevant experience
• Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act
• Excellent communication and advocacy skills
• Commitment to person centred support
