About the Role / Job Summary:
East London colleges are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Health and Social Care Teacher to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire and educate students in the field of health and social care, fostering their development and preparing them for future careers. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and creating engaging learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in Health and Social Care.
- Develop engaging curriculum materials and lesson plans.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes.
- Support students in achieving their academic and career goals.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Experience in teaching Health and Social Care or related subjects.
- Strong understanding of curriculum requirements and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Education Requirements:
- A relevant degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in teaching within Further Education or similar settings.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with assessment and evaluation processes.
