You will be working for a small charity who provide accommodation and support services to their clients. Their aim is to surround and encourage their clients with courage, compassion and connection. As well as providing support and accommodation to the clients the organisation also provides training to external organisations.
As a services manager you will provide line management support to 4/5 members of staff which will include day to day management, providing supervision and support and carrying out appraisals. The team members will be working with clients who have suffered severe trauma on a daily basis so ensuring actions are taken to highlight the well being of staff is essential in the role. Previous experience managing similar teams would be extremely advantageous.
Other parts of the role will include assisting with data/ideas for funding requirements and bids and also promoting improvement opportunities and developments for the charity by engaging with both staff and clients.
Part of the charity\'s work is to provide training to external organisations which will be provided by a sub contractor. The Services Manager role will be to coordinate and facilitate this training so liaising with the organisations and the training provider.
