
PowerBI Project Officer
Morgan Hunt are working with a charity to recruit a PowerBI Project Officer. The role is too help the charity with their PowerBI implementation, development and maintenance. The ability to communicate technical terms back to a non-technical team is important for this position, as well as being able to work pro-actively and independently. The charity are headquartered in York, and would require someone to be on-site once a month. Prior experience working in the charity or public sector would be ideal.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable BI solutions.
- Develop, manage, and maintain Power BI data models, dashboards, and reports.
- Manage the Power BI Data Warehouse and Service.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in line with governance policies.
- Communicate technical insights clearly to non-technical users and train internal teams on Power BI tools.
- Support self-service BI initiatives and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct testing and obtain stakeholder sign-off on BI deliverables.
- Document project processes and changes thoroughly.
- Extract and integrate data from internal and external sources.
Tech experience:
- Data warehouses, data bricks, data flows
- Azure
- PowerBI (Specifically setting up and managing)
- SQL, Python and PowerQuery
12 month FTC
£31k - £39k per year
Remote working (York once per month)
