Structural Engineer

Morgan Hunt are working with a multinational consultancy to recruit a Structural Engineer to join their Glasgow office. It's an expanding team, with work across a variety of sectors - you'll mostly be involved in power and energy projects (substations, grid infrastructure and renewable energy facilities), as well as projects in the industrial, defence and transportation sectors.



Responsibilities:

• Design structural elements for a range of projects, mostly power and energy infrastructure
• Produce drawings, specifications and reports that comply with industry standards
• Work alongside multi-disciplinary teams to provide safe, efficient and sustainable solutions
• Review calculations, drawings and supplier submissions to ensure quality and compliance
• Support with the development of junior engineers

What you Offer:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or similar.
• Demonstrable structural engineering and design experience delivering projects in relevant sectors
• Progressing towards Chartered or Incorporated status with ICE or IStructE.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software
• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, and CDM regulations.
• Confident working collaboratively across disciplines
• Eligibility for security clearance (essential for certain projects).
• UK-based project experience in structural engineering
